RAE Motorcycle Training Privacy Policy

RAE Motorcycle Training believes in keeping our visitors' personal information personal. For this reason, we do not use cookies (though some of our partner links may).  We do however, record visitor information to monitor traffic volumes and measuring the number of readers of each page. This is used to monitor the popularity and improve the general quality of the site. We do not use this information for tracking the activities of specific visitors.

Visitors who choose to subscribe, send in comments or reviews etc. may be asked to supply personal data, but are not obliged to give it. If they choose to do so, this information is recorded and may be used for broad demographic information - it is not used to target specific users with commercial services.

We reserve the right to publish emails and letters sent to RAE particularly if it helps improve our site content (e.g. the questions and answers section).  However, If the sender asks that that we don't reveal his or her identity, that information won't be published. Finally, our online booking system, inevitably records some personal data, including name, address and licence details.  However, this information is retained solely by us and will not knowingly be passed to third-parties.  If you do not wish to provide an element of data and the form demands it, enter 'WITHHELD' in the field.  Obviously, if you are asking us to contact you then we need some sort of contact information.

We would also like to advise our customers and visitors that all our data capture forms use unencrypted email to transfer the data between your browser and us via the web.  Due to the nature of the web and the route from you to us, it is likely that this information may be stored on components out side of our control (such as routers and mail servers etc.).  For this reason we advise our customers never to send credit card or payment details via the web and encourage our visitors to fax them instead.

This statement aims to keep you informed about the information you may be providing during your visit and aims to satisfy our obligations to you under the 1998 Data Protection act.
